CARDS
MTN shareholders (Shareholders) are advised that Scancom Plc (MTN Ghana) has, on
28 November 2022, released an announcement on the Ghana Stock Exchange regarding a directive
confirmed to MTN Ghana by the NCA on 28 November 2022.
The directive relates to the full barring of customers, effective from 1 December 2022, that have
completed Stage 1 (Linkage) of subscriber registration but have not completed Stage 2 of the process,
being the biometric capture.

Scancom PLC and MTN Group will update investors further on 2 December 2022, on completion of
the customer de-activation exercise and will communicate customers impacted, pro forma revenue
impact and initiatives to re-register impacted customers.
