AVAILABILITY OF FINANCIAL RESULTS OF AFRICAN SUN AND CAUTIONARY STATEMENT

The board of directors of Arden Capital (“the “Board”) wishes to inform shareholders that the financial
results for the six months ended 30 June 2021 of African Sun Limited (“ASL”), a material subsidiary of the
Company, have been released and are available at the following link:

Furthermore, the Board wishes to refer shareholders to the cautionary statement published by ASL on 23
September 2021 advising ASL shareholders that one of ASL’s lessors have initiated a tender process in
respect of one of ASL’s current hotel leases.

ASL is a leading Hotel Asset Management Company in Zimbabwe, operating internationally recognised
brands. The outcome of the ongoing tender process may have a material effect on the price of ASL’s
securities and by extension, the Company’s securities.
