Noteholders are hereby advised of the passing away of Advocate Oupa Motaung, a
member of the Transnet Board of Directors, on 28 September 2020.

The board of directors expresses its gratitude to Advocate Motaung’s leadership and
wise counsel during his tenure at Transnet.

Mr Motaung was a member of the Finance and Investment Committee and the
Corporate Governance Committee.

May Advocate Motaung’s soul rest in eternal peace.
