FURTHER DISCLOSURES RELATING TO THE DELAY IN THE RELEASE OF TCTA’S 2018/19 ANNUAL
    FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

TCTA’s SENS announcements of 31 October 2019 and 11 November 2019 (titled: Further Update on the
Delay in the Release of TCTA’s 2018/19 Annual Financial Statements) and 29 November 2019 (titled: Delay
in the Release of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)) have reference.

The Auditor General has concluded the audit process and an audit report dated 20 December 2019,
was submitted to TCTA. The Integrated Annual Report will be presented to the Board for approval
    on 30 January 2020.

In terms of S65 of the PFMA, the Minister must table the Integrated Annual Report to Parliament
within one month of receipt of the audit report. Since it is the festive season and Parliament is
currently in recess, TCTA expects Parliament to open in the first week of February 2020 and the
Annual Integrated Report to be tabled in Parliament by the Minister by mid- February.

A further extension to 20 February 2020 to release TCTA’s Annual Financial Statements was
requested by the Minister and granted by the JSE.
