FURTHER UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE CATEGORY 1 CIRCULAR TO SHAREHOLDERS

Accéntuate shareholders are referred to the announcement released by Accéntuate on SENS on 6
April 2020 (“the Announcement”). Shareholders were advised in the Announcement, that Accéntuate
had agreed to the key terms of a proposed transaction (“Sale of Shares and Sale Claims”) with Safic
Proprietary Limited (“Safic”), in terms of which Accéntuate will dispose of 100% of its shareholding in
Safic, constituting Accéntuate’s entire shareholding in Safic, to the purchasers (“the Transaction”).

Shareholders were further advised on 8 June 2020, and 10 July 2020 that the JSE Limited had granted
the Company an extension to the 60-day rule pursuant to paragraph 11.23 of the JSE Listings
Requirements to dispatch the circular to shareholders regarding the Transaction by 31 July 2020.

An update announcement was published on SENS on 19 August 2020 wherein shareholders were
advised the Company expected to post by 4 September 2020. However, due to ongoing delays in
finalising the financial review, the distribution of the circular has been delayed. The JSE has granted
dispensation to distribute the circular by 30 September 2020.
