Notice to Shareholders – Ghana
Letshego Holdings Limited (“LHL” / “the Company”) was incorporated in
1998, is headquartered in Gaborone and has been publicly listed on the
Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) since 2002. It is an inclusive finance
focused group with consumer, micro-lending and deposit-taking subsidiaries
across sub-Saharan Africa.
The Board is pleased to inform Shareholders of the successful acquisition
of 100% of the share capital of afb (Ghana) Plc with effect from 31
December 2016. afb (Ghana) plc is a financial services company
incorporated and operating in Ghana. It is licensed by the Bank of Ghana
to operate a non-banking financial institution as a finance house. afb
(Ghana) plc has over 60,000 customers, 200 members of staff and 25
customer access points.
