SABMiller plc was further notified that on 5 December 2013 Mr D.J. De Lorenzo, a PDMR, had
entered into a personal loan facility with Barclay Bank PLC and has granted a pledge in favour
of Barclays Bank PLC over 62,500 ordinary shares in SABMiller plc as security for any amounts
which may be due from time to time by Mr De Lorenzo under the facility. Mr De Lorenzo
remains the beneficial owner of the shares subject to the pledge, and retains full voting rights.
