NATIONAL TREASURY’S GLOBAL INVESTOR CALL AND NON-DEAL ROADSHOW POST 2023 BUDGET
The Republic of South Africa, rated Ba2/BB-/BB- (Moody’s/S&P/Fitch) has mandated Citi and
Nedbank to arrange a non-deal Global Investor Call to update investors on the Eskom debt relief
arrangement. The call is scheduled for Wednesday 22 February 2023 at 09.00 EST /14.00 UKT/16.00
SAST followed by a series of fixed income investor update meetings in Cape Town on 23 & 24
February, Johannesburg on 27 February, New York on 6 March, Boston on 7 March, and London on 9
& 10 March 2023. This is part of the National Treasury’s regular post-budget investor engagement.
The call and investor meetings will be led by the Deputy Director General: Asset and Liability
Management of the National Treasury of South Africa, Duncan Pieterse, and will be supported by
senior officials from the National Treasury and Eskom.
