Renewal of cautionary announcement in relation to MTN Group Limited ("MTN")

Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements issued by Telkom, with the latest being 22 August
2022, in relation to discussions between Telkom and MTN regarding MTN acquiring the entire issued share capital
of Telkom in return for shares or a combination of cash and shares in MTN (the "MTN Proposal"). The MTN
Proposal is still under consideration by both parties.

The MTN Proposal, if concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the Company’s securities. Accordingly,
shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a further
announcement is made.

The Telkom board of directors accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement and, to
