NOTICE TO BONDHOLDERS REGARDING THE RELEASE OF THE VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Bondholders are referred to the announcement released by the Issuer on SENS on 30 August 2018
relating to Santam’s participation in the acquisition of a further interest in Saham Finances S.A. via the
indirect acquisition of the remaining shareholding not already owned by Sanlam Emerging Markets
Ireland Limited, which has been released on a voluntary basis by the Issuer.
