Transsec 4 (RF) Limited interest rate reset, interest payment, and interest deferral
announcement: TRA4A3, TRA4A4, TRA4A7, TRA4A8, TRA4B1 and TRA4B2
Based on the calculation of the priority of payments as at the determination date of 30 September 2024,
an interest deferral event in respect of the Class B notes (TRA4B1 & TRA4B2) has occurred due to a
principal deficiency in the structure.
The interest amounts in respect of the Class B Notes which will be deferred on 14 October 2024 Interest
Payment Date, are listed below:
11.995% p.a. being R 3,392,827.19 (367 bps over 3-month Jibar of 8.325%) for the
TRA4B1 period 15 July 2024 to 13 October 2024, which interest payment is deferred in terms of
the relevant interest deferral event.
11.995% p.a. being R 2,162,927.34 (367 bps over 3-month Jibar of 8.325%) for the
TRA4B2 period 15 July 2024 to 13 October 2024, which interest payment is deferred in terms of
the relevant interest deferral event.
Interest rates payments for the period 14 October 2024 for each of the notes are listed below:
10.625% p.a. being R 1,024,349.97 (230 bps over 3-month Jibar of 8.325%) for the
TRA4A3 period 15 July 2024 to 13 October 2024.
10.625% p.a. being R 426,426.26 (230 bps over 3-month Jibar of 8.325%) for the period
TRA4A4 15 July 2024 to 13 October 2024.
TRA4A7 10.625% p.a. being R 375,440.50 (230 bps over 3-month Jibar of 8.325%) for the period
15 July 2024 to 13 October 2024.
TRA4A8 10.625% p.a. being R 287,374.19 (230 bps over 3-month Jibar of 8.325%) for the period
15 July 2024 to 13 October 2024.
