 TAKEOVER REGULATION PANEL INVESTIGATION INVOLVING EXTRACT GROUP LIMITED,
 ENX GROUP LIMITED, ZARCLEAR HOLDINGS LIMITED, AFRICAN PHOENIX INVESTMENTS
 LIMITED AND OTHERS


 1       Introduction

 1.1     We refer to the Panel’s current investigation involving Extract Group Limited, EnX Group
         Limited, Zaclear Holdings Limited, African Phoenix Investments Limited and others.
         (“Investigation”). The scope and details of the Investigation are set out in a SENS
         announcement published by the Panel on 19 August 2022, a copy of which is available on
         the Panel’s website (“SENS Announcement”).

 1.2     The SENS Announcement invited any interested parties who wished to make submissions
         regarding the Investigation to do so within 14 days from the date of publication of the SENS
         Announcement, which meant that interested parties would have until 1 September 2022 to
         make submissions.

 2       Extension of deadline for submissions

 2.1     The TRP has since received several enquiries requesting clarity on the deadline for
         submissions by interested parties, and it appears that the confusion stems from the fact that
         the SENS Announcement was not released simultaneously with other announcements
         published by the Impugned Parties (as defined in the SENS Announcement).

 2.2     Considering this confusion, the TRP decided to extend the submission deadline from
         1 September 2022 to 9 September 2022 at 16:00.

 2.3     Accordingly, any interested person that wishes to make any submission to the Panel
         regarding the investigation above should contact the Panel at the following email address
         admin@trpanel.co.za on or before 9 September 2022.
