CHANGE OF NAME

Words and expressions defined in this announcement shall, when used below, bear the same meanings ascribed to
them in the Circular.

Shareholders are referred to the results of general meeting announcement (“General Meeting”) which was
released on SENS on 18 August 2022 wherein Tsogo Sun Hotels’ shareholders were advised of the approval of the
Special Resolution in respect of the Change of Name.

The Company received confirmation from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (“CIPC”) of the
registration of the Special Resolution for the Change of Name. The name of the Company will change from Tsogo
Sun Hotels to Southern Sun Limited., with the share code: SSU. The ISIN number and sector will remain unchanged.

The Company will retain history and commence trading under the new name on the JSE on 7 September 2022.

The final salient dates relating to the Change of Name are set out below:
