Publication of a Prospectus relating to U.S.$500,000,000 additional tier 1 Fixed Rate Reset Write-
Off Notes issuance

In accordance with paragraph 6.3(b) of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, which deals with
notification requirements relating to a listing on another financial exchange, and Condition 18
(Notices) of the Terms and Conditions of the Notes, notice is hereby given to noteholders that the
London Stock Exchange has published on its website a prospectus dated 25 May 2021 (“Prospectus”).
The Prospectus relates to the stand-alone issuance in the international capital markets by Absa Group
of U.S.$500,000,000 additional tier 1 Fixed Rate Reset Write-Off Notes which settle on 27 May 2021.
