APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND MEMBER OF THE AUDIT AND RISK COMMITTEE
The board of directors of the Company ('the Board') is pleased to announce that Ken Hopkins has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director on the Board as of 16 February 2015 and as a member
of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Company as of 1 April 2015 once his retirement from KPMG has
become effective.
Ken is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience as a partner at Deloitte and KPMG. His
experience spans across several industries and his areas of expertise include all investment funds
entities: asset managers, collective investment schemes (unit trusts), hedge funds, linked life
companies, retirement funds and medical schemes. He is viewed as the technical and regulatory
expert in KPMG South Africa on asset managers, collective investment schemes and hedge funds.
The Board welcomes him to the team and it is believed that he will add specialised skill and value to
the Board and the Audit and Risk Committee.
