 APPOINTMENT OF THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE


 In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, Transnet SOC
 Ltd. wishes to notify noteholders that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr Aluwani
 Percy Ramabulana as the Interim Chairperson of the Audit Committee with effect from
 01 March 2023. Mr Ramabulana’s appointment follows the resignation of Mr Louis von
 Zeuner from the Board on 23 February 2023.

 Mr Ramabulana was appointed as a non-executive director on the Transnet Board in May
 2018. During his tenure he has been a member of the Audit Committee as well as the
 Finance and Investment Committee.
