CHANGE TO IMPORTANT FUNCTION OF A DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, the board of FirstRand Limited
(FirstRand) and FRB is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr SP Sibisi as the lead independent director with
effect from 2 December 2022. Dr Sibisi was appointed to the board in April 2021 and currently serves as an
independent non-executive director on FirstRand’s risk, capital management and compliance committee (RCCC),
the IT risk and governance committee and the social, ethics and transformation committee.
