FirstRand Bank Limited, acting through its RMB division, is to redeem and delist the RMB Coal Exchange
Traded Note (RMB Coal ETN).

Unit holders are advised that the JSE Limited (“the JSE”) has approved the redemption of all RMB Coal
Exchange Traded Notes listed on the JSE.


The final terms and date of the redemption are as follows:


Last day to trade in Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs)                       25 July 2014
Suspension of market making and determination of 
final ETN redemption value(at close of business)                        28 July 2014
SENS announcement on the final ETN redemption value                     28 July 2014
Record date to determine the register of ETNs                           1 August 2014
Redemption of ETNs and distribution of proceeds                         5 August 2014
Termination of listing at commencement of trade on                      6 August 2014


Noteholders are entitled to disinvest up until the last day of trade, which will be on 25 July 2014.
Noteholders who choose not to disinvest on or before this date will receive the final redemption value as
at the redemption date. The proceeds of the redemption will be paid out to ETN holders on 5 August
2014.
