IMP - Impala Platinum Holdings - Implats appoints two new Non-Executive Directors Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration No. 1957/001979/06) ISIN: ZAE000083648 JSE Share Code : IMP LSE Share Code : IPLA ADR Code : IMPUY ("Implats" or "the Company") IMPLATS APPOINTS TWO NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS Implats is pleased to announce the appointment of O`lebogang Mpueleng Pooe as a non-executive director and Hugh Cameron as an independent non-executive director to the Board of Directors of the Company. Mpueleng Pooe, whose appointment is effective from 18 August 2010, is the second Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited (RBH) representative on the Board of Implats replacing Steve Phiri who resigned last year. This appointment is in terms of Implats` agreement with the RBH entitling them to two board members and serves to enhance the alignment between Implats` BEE partner and the Company. Mpueleng is a lawyer by profession and is Executive: Public Affairs with the RBH. He currently serves on the boards of Metair Investments Limited, Senwes Limited and Impala Platinum Limited.
