WCC Receives Legal Claim

The Waterberg Coal Company Limited (Company) advise that it, along
with other parties, has received notice of legal action
originating in the United Kingdom in respect of a claim for
approximately GBP1.0 million lodged by a foreign company.

The Company believes the claim to be spurious in nature and is
engaging with counsel to seek to have the matter struck out in its
entirety.
