In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Nictus shareholders
are advised that, with effect from 15 April 2014, Mr Wilmar Fourie has resigned from his position as
Financial Director of the Group, to henceforth exclusively focus on his executive role in Nictus Holdings
Limited.

The board of directors of Nictus (“the Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Frank-
Michael Theart as Financial Director of the Group, with effect from 15 April 2014.

Mr Theart (33) qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) in 2006. Mr Theart joined the Group
in 2011 and held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Corporate Guarantee (South Africa) Limited,
the wholly owned insurance subsidiary of the Group. Mr Theart has been a member of the executive
management team of the Group for the past year.

The Board would like to thank Mr Fourie for his valuable contribution to the Company and wishes him
well in his future endeavours.
