APPOINTMENT OF MR JOHN MOTSATSING TO THE SANRAL BOARD

SANRAL wishes to notify debt investors that the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Ms. Barbara
Creecy, MP, has appointed Mr John Motsatsing to the SANRAL Board as a non-executive director in
replacement of Mr Chris Hlabisa as the representative of the Department of Transport, following Mr
Hlabisa's retirement from the Department of Transport. This appointment, effective immediately is
made in accordance with section 12(2)(b) of the South African National Roads Agency Limited and
National Roads Act, 1998 (Act No. 7 of 1998).

Mr Motsatsing is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in the transport sector.
Mr Motsatsing currently serves as a Director of Road Transport Regulations and Standards at the
Department of Transport. His career spans over 19 years.

SANRAL is looking forward to the significant contributions he will make in this new role. The Board
will in due course announce the reconstruction of its committees as a result of this appointment.
