APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that Mr.Lionel
Isaac Jacobs (“Lionel”) has been appointed as an independent
non-executive director to the Vunani board with effect from
14 April 2014.

Lionel served as an Executive Director of Bidvest Group
Limited from October 2003 to November 26, 2012. Whilst with the
Bidvest group, Lionel was the Commercial Director of Bidserv,
the services division, for 9 years. His association with
Bidvest started when his private investment company, Bassap
Investments (Pty) Limited, became one of the core shareholders
in the Dinatla Consortium, the BEE consortium that invested in
the Bidvest group. Throughout his tenure he was a director of
numerous Bidvest subsidiaries. He remains a non-executive
director of Bidvest South Africa and many of its subsidiaries.
Lionel is an entrepreneur with extensive negotiating and
investment skills. He is currently fully engaged in
furthering the prospects of his company, Bassap Investments
(Pty) Limited and its subsidiaries, where he is
Executive Director.

Vunani welcomes Lionel Jacobs to the board and looks forward
to his contribution to the growth and success of the Vunani
group of companies.
