DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON VODACOM GROUP LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES – (“VODIHE”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Vodacom Group Limited declared a gross interim
dividend of 390 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 4 December 2017, to ordinary shareholders and
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 1 December 2017.

In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 22 February 2017, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 20%;
2)   net local dividend amount 312 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and 390
     cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax;
3)   the issued share capital of Vodacom Group Limited is 1,721,413,781 ordinary shares;
4)   Vodacom Group Limited tax reference number 9316/041//71/5; and
5)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.


Accordingly, the holders of VODIHE will receive a Vodacom Group Limited distribution amount per security on
Monday, 4 December 2017, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Tuesday, 28 November 2017.

VODIHE Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Wednesday, 29 November 2017, and the record date will be Friday, 1 December 2017.
