APPOINTMENT OF JOINT BROKER AND COMMUNICATIONS ADVISERS

Pan African Resources (AIM: PAF, JSE: PAN), the African focused precious metals producer, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Peel Hunt LLP as joint broker with effect from 1 September
2014.

The Company also wishes to announce the appointment of Bell Pottinger as its London market
communications advisers, and Aprio Strategic Communications in Johannesburg as its South African-
based communications advisers with immediate effect.
