APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR

Further to the appointment of Dr Mathews Phosa as Chairman; the Board of Firestone 
Energy Limited (ASX/JSE: FSE) (the "Company", "FSE" or "Firestone") is pleased to 
announce the appointment of Mr Stephen Miller as Managing Director of the Company with 
immediate effect.
 
Mr Miller was appointed a Director of the Company in June 2013 and then, on 4 July 2013, 
appointed CEO/Executive Director. He has significant experience in the financing and 
development of large scale projects of this nature having been a founder Director, Executive 
Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of a number of successful resource companies listed 
on the Australian and North American exchanges.

During 2012-13 Mr Miller oversaw the reorganization and recalibration of The Waterberg Coal 
Project ownership which has led to the creation of The Waterberg Coal Company Ltd, a 
45.88% shareholder in FSE. 
Mr Miller is a Member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the 
Australian Institute of Company Directors and previously a Director on the Australian Gold 
Council.

The terms and conditions of Mr Miller's engagement have not changed with his change of 
status to Managing Director.
