APPOINTMENT OF GROUP FINANCIAL DIRECTOR AND COMPANY SECRETARY                   
Famous Brands is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig McLeary to the    
position of Group Financial Director.                                           
In compliance with sections 3.59 to 3.62 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised that Mr McLeary will be appointed as Company  
Secretary of the group. Mr Mcleary will join Famous Brands on Monday, 20th      
August 2007.                                                                    
Mr Paris Papageorgiou, current Group Financial Director and Company Secretary,  
will resign his position on the 20th August 2007.
