JOHANNESBURG, Oct 13 (Reuters) – South Africa’s retail sales
fell 1.3% year on year in August after falling by a revised 1.2%
in July, Statistics South Africa said on Wednesday.
On a month-on-month basis, sales were up 4.9%. Sales rose
2.6% in the three months to the end of August compared with the
same period last year, the statistics agency said.
