JOHANNESBURG, Sept 15 (Reuters) – South Africa’s retail
sales fell 0.8% year on year in July after rising by 10.5% in
June, Statistics South Africa said on Wednesday.
On a month-on-month basis, sales were down 11.2%. Sales rose
8.4% in the three months to the end of July compared with the
same period last year, the statistics agency said.
