WASHINGTON, Aug 5 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump
slammed China’s currency move on Monday as Beijing let the yuan
breach the key seven-per-dollar level for the first time in more
than a decade, calling it “a major violation.”
“China dropped the price of their currency to an almost a
historic low. It’s called ‘currency manipulation.’ Are you
listening Federal Reserve? This is a major violation which will
greatly weaken China over time!” Trump tweeted.
