Morocco’s CPI drops to 0.2% y/y in May- planning agency

RABAT, June 22 (Reuters) – Morocco’s consumer price inflation slowed to 0.2% year-on-year in May compared to 0.9% in April, the high commission for planning said on Tuesday.

On a month-on-month basis, the index also dropped to 0.2%. Core inflation, which excludes prices of volatile goods, was 0.9% month-on-month and 0.8% year-on-year. (Reporting by Ahmed Eljechtimi; Editing by Jon Boyle)
