CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS – RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, and further to the
announcement released on SENS on 10 December 2021 wherein shareholders were advised that
Mr. Mark Smith had stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Cognition, the board of directors of the
Company (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr. Mark Smith has resigned as a non-
executive director with immediate effect.

The Board thanks Mark for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well in his future
endeavours.
