PILLAR 3 BASEL III CAPITAL ADEQUACY, LEVERAGE AND LIQUIDITY DISCLOSURES AT 30
SEPTEMBER 2021

Shareholders and noteholders are advised that the Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited have released
their Pillar 3 Risk and Capital Management Report for the quarter ended 30 September 2021, as required
by regulation 43 of the regulations relating to banks, issued in terms of the Banks Act, 94 of 1990. This
report is available on the group’s website:

At 30 September 2021, Nedbank Group reported a CET1 capital adequacy ratio of 12,3% (June 2021:
12,2% and September 2020: 10,7%), above the board-approved target range of 10% to 12%. Nedbank
Limited reported a CET 1 capital adequacy ratio of 11,7% (June 2021: 11,6% and September 2020:
10,0%), within the board-approved target range of 10% to 12%.

Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited reported a Liquidity Coverage Ratio of 127,7% (June 2021:
130,5% and September 2020: 125,6%) and 130,8% (June 2021: 133,9% and September 2020: 127,9%)
respectively. Nedbank Group reported a Net Stable Funding Ratio of 117,5% (June 2021: 113,6% and
September 2020: 113,2%).

The disclosures have not been audited or reviewed by the group’s joint external auditors.
