Fourth quarter operational update - FY 2021 CASHBUILD LIMITED (Registration number: 1986/001503/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) JSE share code: CSB ISIN: ZAE000028320 (“Cashbuild” or “the Group”) FOURTH QUARTER OPERATIONAL UPDATE – FY 2021 Cashbuild herewith provides its voluntary quarterly operational update. Revenue for the fourth quarter for the Cashbuild Group was up 38% on the fourth quarter of the prior financial year (“the comparative period”) which was impacted by Covid-19 hard lockdown. The 298 existing stores’ revenue increased by 36% and the 21 new stores contributed 2% of the growth. The growth for the fourth quarter together with the growth of the previous quarters, equates to an increase in revenue for the Cashbuild Group of 25% for the financial year ended 27 June 2021 (“the financial year”), with new stores contributing 2% of the increase and existing stores increasing 23%. Transactions through the tills during the fourth quarter for the Cashbuild Group increased by 23% to that of the comparative period, with new stores contributing 2% of the increase and existing stores increasing by 21%.
