APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

In accordance with paragraphs 3.59 and 6.39 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and the Debt
Listings Requirements respectively, shareholders and noteholders are advised that Ms Tebogo
Moshakga (“Tebogo”) has been appointed as Company Secretary of Santam with effect from 1
August 2021.

Tebogo has been appointed pursuant to section 84(4)(a) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008,
following the resignation of the previous company secretary.

Tebogo holds a BCom (Law), LLB and a Higher Diploma in Tax Law. She is an admitted Advocate
of the High Court of South Africa. She joins Santam from 3Sixty Global Solutions Group, where she
serves as Group Executive: Governance, Legal, Risk and Compliance. Tebogo has also previously
served as company secretary of a number of entities in the financial services industry. The Board is
satisfied that Tebogo has the experience, qualifications and expertise to take up the position as
company secretary of Santam.
