RESIGNATION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised that Mr Desmond Maharaj has given notice to resign as the
Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of ArcelorMittal South Africa to pursue
personal opportunities outside the company.

To enable a successful transition, the effective date of Mr Maharaj’s resignation has
taken into account the possible timing of the appointment of his successor, and it has
been agreed that it will be no earlier than 31 July 2021and no later than
30 September 2021. This should allow adequate opportunity to identify a successor.

The process to find a successor will commence immediately and the company will
consider appropriate internal and external candidates. Shareholders will be advised
once a decision in this regard has been made.

The     Chairman      of    the   Board of Directors (“Board”), Mr    Mpho
Makwana, expressed appreciation on behalf of the Board to Mr Maharaj for his
valuable contribution to the company.
