DISCLOSURE OF ACQUISITION OF TRENCOR SHARES

In accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and Section 122 of the
Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Act”), shareholders are advised that Peresec Prime
Brokers Proprietary Limited has formally notified the Company that its total beneficial
interest held in the Company now amounts to 13,21%.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the required notice has been filed with
the Takeover Regulation Panel.
