APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the
Board of Directors of NVest is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Dion Dominic
Ramoo (“Dion”) as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from
27 January 2021.
Dion is a qualified Chartered Director (SA) with over 10 years of board experience at both
listed entity and subsidiary company levels. He has been in senior management and
executive positions since 1995 as a partner at the international audit firm KPMG and at both
group and subsidiary levels at listed entity EOH Limited (“EOH”). Dion has extensive experience
in all aspects of business as he has run a number of businesses within KPMG and EOH.
Dion is a specialist in finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), Professional
Accountant (SA) and also a Chartered Government Finance Officer. Dion has over 30 years
of diverse experience within the public and private sector.
Dion has provided management and consulting advice to senior decision makers over many
years as a trusted advisor, developed and implemented strategies, managed business
operations, acquired businesses for the EOH group, was responsible for corporate
governance, assurance, risk management, drove innovation, creation of own IP, built and
implemented technology solutions and a focus on training, mentoring and people
management within his areas of responsibility.
Dion will also serve as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Remuneration and
Nomination Committee.
