APPOINTMENT OF JOINT EQUITY SPONSORS

Shareholders are hereby advised that Tamela Holdings Proprietary Limited ("Tamela") has
been appointed as Joint JSE Equity Sponsor to Exxaro with effect from 01 December 2020.

Absa Corporate and Investment Bank, a division of Absa Bank Limited (“Absa”) continues
in its role as JSE Equity Sponsor and will, from 1 December 2020, act as Lead JSE Equity
Sponsor with Tamela as Joint JSE Equity Sponsor, to perform the continuing obligations in
connection with Exxaro’s ordinary shares listed on the JSE.
