VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE ACQUISITION OF A MAJORITY
STAKE IN LINK SA

Shareholders are referred to the voluntary announcement released on
the Stock Exchange News Service on 3 September 2020 regarding the
JSE’s acquisition of a 74.85% interest in Link Market Services South
Africa Proprietary Limited ("Link SA") from Link Market Services
Limited, a company incorporated in Australia (the "Transaction").

The JSE is pleased to announce that all conditions precedent to the
Transaction have been fulfilled. The consideration of R243.6m for
the 74.85% stake in Link SA has been settled from the Group’s cash
reserves (being the original agreed acquisition price of R224.5m and
net cash on hand held by Link SA).

Link SA’s Black Economic Empowerment partner retains its existing
25.15% interest in Link SA.

In due course, Link SA will be renamed JSE Investor Services
Proprietary Limited.
