TRADING STATEMENT
Exemplar has elected dividend per share (“DPS”) as its relevant measure of financial performance. In terms of the JSE
Listings Requirements, the Company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it is satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty that the DPS for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 15% from
that of the prior corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that the company anticipates that its dividend per share for the six months ended
31 August 2020 will be 35.96489 cents per share being a decline of 17.8%% when compared to the DPS of 43.77
cents per share for the six months ended 31 August 2019.
The information on which this trading statement has been based has not been reviewed or reported on by the
company’s auditors.
The unaudited interim results for the six months ended 31 August 2020 are anticipated to be released on
30 October 2020.
