TRADING STATEMENT AND EXTENSION IN RESPECT OF THE RELEASE OF THE FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 
30 JUNE 2020

Trading Statement

In terms of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading
statement as soon as they are satisfied, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the financial results
for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous
corresponding reporting period.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that, for the year ended 30 June 2020, basic loss per share is
expected to be between 6.72 cents and 9.39 cents (2019: 13.88 cents earnings per share), representing
a decrease when compared to the earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2019.

Shareholders are further advised that, for the year ended 30 June 2020, headline loss per share is
expected to be between 2.59 cents and 3.25 cents (2019: 3.30 cents headline loss per share),
representing a reduction in headline loss per share of between 2% and 22% when compared to the
headline loss per share for the year ended 30 June 2019.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by the Company’s external auditors.


Extension in respect of the release of the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2020

Shareholders are referred to the announcements released by the JSE on 3 April 2020 and 8 July 2020,
in which it was advised that the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (the “FSCA”) had granted companies
with financial year ends of 31 May 2020, 30 June 2020 and 31 July 2020 an extension of two months
to complete their financial reporting process. Shareholders are advised that Unicorn will be making use
of the two-month extension granted by the FSCA to finalise the financial results for year ended 30 June
2020. The Company expects the financial results to be released on SENS on or about 2 October 2020.
