DISCLOSURE OF ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES

In accordance with the JSE Listings Requirements and Section 122(1) of the Companies Act, No 71 of
2008, shareholders are advised that Foord Asset Management (Pty) Ltd (“Foord”) has notified
Hudaco that it had acquired a beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of the company on behalf of
its clients, such that the total beneficial interest in Hudaco securities held by Foord is now 5.08% of
the total issued Hudaco securities.
