TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2020

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial
results for the previous corresponding period.

Nictus shareholders are advised that for the year ended 31 March 2020, the Group expects to report:

  -   earnings per share (“EPS”) of between 5.33 and 7.45 cents per share which is between 50%
      and 30% lower than the previous corresponding period’s EPS of 10.60 cents per share.
  -   headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) of between 5.36 and 7.46 cents per share which is
      between 29% and 49% lower than the previous corresponding period’s HEPS of 10.52 cents
      per share.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by Nictus’ independent auditor.

The financial results for the year ended 31 March 2020 are expected to be published on SENS by
31 August 2020.
