BID FOR METROFILE AND FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Johannesburg
Stock Exchange News Service (“SENS”) on 11 June 2020.

Shareholders are advised that the Housatonic Consortium and Metrofile are still
waiting until further clarity emerges on the impact of the Covid-19 crisis and
lockdown on Metrofile’s business and until international travel restrictions are lifted.
The Housatonic Consortium has indicated that they will need to see three months of
normal trading and revised projections and debt levels before a firm offer package
and funding can be finalised.

Metrofile expects to release its results for the year ended 30 June 2020 on SENS on
or about 14 September 2020.

Shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution in trading in Metrofile
shares.
