Most of Virgin Active’s clubs in Italy, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Namibia and Botswana have reopened and are performing ahead of expectations in terms of usage and membership numbers. The UK government has announced that UK clubs will reopen on 25 July 2020. Engagement with the South African government continues with respect to establishing an opening date for the South African clubs. Premier’s strong operating performance has continued resulting in a strong 1Q 2021 for the company ahead of both prior year and budget.
