NOTIFICATION OF PUBLICATION OF THE COMPANY'S FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED
31 MARCH 2020

Shareholders are referred to the JSE Limited's general announcement published on SENS on 3 April 2020
regarding the market notice issued by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority ("FSCA") on 3 April 2020
("Market Notice") in respect of an extension afforded by the FSCA to certain issuers pertaining to various
financial reporting timeframes referred to in the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, as a result of the
impact that the Covid-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown announced by the South African
Government, effective from midnight on 26 March 2020, has had on the financial reporting and audit
processes of issuers.

Shareholders are hereby advised that Tongaat will be placing reliance on the Market Notice and the
extension afforded therein as it is expected that the publication and distribution of the Company's
financial results for the year ended 31 March 2020 will be delayed. Shareholders are referred to the
announcement published on SENS on 24 June 2020 where shareholders have been advised that the
release of the annual results for the year ended 31 March 2020 is provisionally scheduled for 31 July 2020.
Further announcements will be made with regards to the official date of the release of the results.
