Gontse‘s academic qualifications include MSc (Actuarial Management) and BSc (Statistics and Actuarial Science). He previously led the asset management team at Encha Group, as its Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that he headed up Encha Tech Proprietary Limited. He has also served as a Non-Executive director of JSE-listed SacOil Holdings Limited (now Efora Energy Limited). Gontse has knowledge and experience spanning more than 15 years in asset management (particularly of real assets), corporate finance and governance, as well as financial management. Mrs Petro Lewis has been appointed as the Financial Director of the Gaia Group with effect from 1 July 2020. Petro is a chartered accountant by profession and holds B.Com Accounting and B.Com Accounting Honours Degrees with extensive experience in financial management, governance and reporting. Her previous roles include Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance for an ALTX listed technology solutions entity.
