Covid-19 update: Nepi Rockcastle’s operating gross leasable area increases to 90% NEPI Rockcastle plc Incorporated and registered in the Isle of Man Registered number 014178V Share code: NRP ISIN: IM00BDD7WV31 (“NEPI Rockcastle” or the “Group”) COVID-19 UPDATE: NEPI ROCKCASTLE’S OPERATING GROSS LEASABLE AREA INCREASES TO 90% Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on 5 June 2020 and are advised that, as a result of the further easing of trading restrictions in Romania, tenants occupying approximately 90% of the Group’s GLA are now operational. Romania ended the trading ban on stores located in large shopping centres, except for cinemas and playgrounds, on 15 June. Indoor restaurants and food courts can only provide take-away food, while outdoor food and beverage amenities trade normally. All stores in all other countries in the Group’s portfolio are allowed to trade, except for cinemas and playgrounds in some locations. The operating GLA is expected to further increase to approximately 94% by the end of June, as a result of the gradual reopening of cinemas in some countries, while playgrounds are expected to open at a later stage. Average footfall exceeds 70% of the levels recorded in the same period last year in most of the Group’s shopping centres. The Group’s top priority remains maintaining the health and safety of customers, tenants and staff, and all necessary measures for safe visits to the malls have been implemented. Mega Mall in Bucharest and Bonarka City Centre in Krakow are the first shopping malls in Romania and Poland certified as COVID-19 safety compliant by SAFE Shopping Centers, confirming that the properties comply with strict security and safety conditions related to COVID-19 and adhere to best practice and industry standards.
