UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE CATEGORY 1 CIRCULAR TO SHAREHOLDERS

Accentuate shareholders are referred to the announcement released by Accentuate on SENS on 6
April 2020 (“the Announcement”). Shareholders were advised in the Announcement, that Accentuate
had agreed to the key terms of a proposed transaction (“Sale of Shares and Sale Claims”) with Safic
Proprietary Limited (“Safic”), in terms of which Accentuate will dispose of 100% of its shareholding in
Safic, constituting Accentuate’s entire shareholding in Safic, to the purchasers (“the Transaction”).

Due to the Covid – 19 pandemic, and the ongoing national lockdown there has been a delay in
finalising the circular. Shareholders are advised that the JSE Limited has granted the Company an
extension to the 60-day rule pursuant to paragraph 11.23 of the JSE Listings Requirements to dispatch
the circular to shareholders regarding the Transaction.

The extension has been granted until 10 July 2020.
